Executive Solutions are urgently recruiting for an MEP Manager for their client, a leading Architectural and Engineering Consultancy firm, based in Kuwait.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum 10 years experience in design and/or design management, including a minimum of 3 years experience in project design management within consulting firms. Working knowledge of project management is preferred and you should have a Bachelor degree in Engineering.
This position requires management of the project team, other consultants and the client. The MEP Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of projects and will have an assigned team for his/her project and after consulting with all Department Heads, will assign the work and ensure that it is properly completed. The lead designer (Project Engineer) will make all design decisions but the Project Manager will ensure that the design team do not design beyond the contract requirements. When another firm is engaged as a sub-consultant, it is the Project Manager's responsibility to ensure that the lines of responsibility are clearly defined and that there is adequate coordination between offices. The Project Manager must be capable and experienced, with authority to speak for the firm in dealing with the client and to direct and expedite the work. The Project Manager will be assessed on the profitability targets of his/her projects in addition to client satisfaction and teamwork criteria.
