Our client is a growing cost and project management consultancy operating on a global scale. They currently have need of a Senior Construction Manager to manage and coordinate all construction activities related to the successful completion of an office build project in Bucharest. You will be required to proactively supervise the quality level of construction on site, and assume full responsibility for inspections and acceptance.
Key responsibilities on this position are as follows:
· Consultation and assistance in identification of design products and contractual arrangements
· Monitoring and checking the project progress, documentation, file system and distribution Assist agreements for design products
· Prepare safety and quality plans Analyse construction capabilities of tenderer's
· Assist in preparation of tender documentation Analyse forms of contracts
· Develop preliminary construction programme
· Design development and build-ability of the concept/detailed designs Audit agreed quality plans and ensure that they are implemented on the site Inspection of all works, defects, backlogs and repairing
Main tasks: Project preparation Assist design Construction procurement Construction supervising
The ideal candidate will come form a technical background with significant experience on a similar project high rise experience is preferred and familiarity with metal structures would be advantageous.
