Our client is European leader with a new fresh innovative approach to construction of modular buildings. They offer a wide range of architectural solutions from shelters through to buildings. They have a first class design team providing new and exciting solutions for their clients.
They are now seeking a construction engineer to help launch their new products into the French and English markets. The Construction Engineer will be in charge and supervising and support the building solutions business development in the UK.
The potential clients are the Schools, the Councils, the Commercial Offices, the Hostels, etc
The candidate will have the expertise in construction with a high educational background (corresponding to the “Diplôme d'Ingénieur en Construction” in France). He will have a good track record with at least a 3 years experience in construction.
A working level in French could be a benefit in order to liaise with French counterparts and colleagues but is not required.
The candidate will be based in France (18 months) with frequent trips to the UK. Afterwards there is the potential to move back to the UK, with frequent travel throughout the UK and Paris.
He will work in close partnership with the Export Manager responsible for the sales and business development (based in France) whom he will support in the sales process bringing in the expertise.
More precisely, liaising with the export manager, he will be in charge of:
-Drafting plans and their costs. -Submitting requirements to subcontractors. -Creating specification sheets to support the sales manager. -Accompanying the Export manager during the negotiation -After agreement, drafting files and looking after the followings.
He will have a privileged relationship with a series of key stakeholders within the building decision making process and the building project cycle: end-users, architects and any other specifies, contractors, etc.
Remuneration
Basic salary around €50k + bonus (OTE around €70k) + typical other benefits (car allowance or company car / pension / healthcare, etc)
