POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Commercial Manager
Based: Kuwait
Reports to: Managing Director
Job Overview:
The Commercial Manager will prepare financial plans for the business and each project under the management of the Company. The Commercial Manager shall have overall and accountable responsibilities for the Commercial outcomes of operations of the company.
Area of Operations:
Kuwait, Oman, KSA, Bahrain and other areas as the company expands geographically
Functions of Role
Corporate Related Functions
•Prepare, forecast, monitor and report on a quarterly and annual basis the company budget and performance
•Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the business
•Establish, maintain and manage procedures for financial management of the business
Project Related Functions
•Establish, maintain and manage procedures for commercial management of the functions of the business
•Establish, forecast and monitor project budgets
•Establish standard set of contractual documentation for the activities of the business
•Implement and Administration of contracts
•Preparation, negotiation and recommendation of terms of appointment for professional advisors and contractors
•Management, motivation, training, recruitment and selection of direct reports
•Establish, maintain and manage database of construction, materials prices
Position Interfaces:
The position will require regular meetings with Senior Vice Presidents, Regional Managers, Project Directors, Quantity Surveying, estimating teams, accounting department. Interface with financial advisors and other lending institutions, insurance advisors and providers, professional agencies and contractors on a variety of commercial related matters. Undertake monthly, quarterly and annual presentations to the Regional Managers.

Indirect Reports: Project Managers, Engineers
