Test Engineer
£20,000 - £30,000 DOE
West Sussex

A leading organization is looking for a Test Engineer to work in house with the development team in their alternative energy department

Company
This company is a leading AIM- Listed fuel cell company looking to revolutionize environmentally friendly sources of power. Highly successful there is an increased demand for highly trained individuals to secure a career in the renewable energy sector

Role
As a test engineer you will work within the product development team, you will work
with product development engineers to implement product validation plans. You will be degree qualified or equivalent with 1 – 2 years industrial experience.

You will be involved in a wide range of activities and will have an enthusiastic hands on approach and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist product development engineers define and plan testing activities
• Testing of products, sub-systems and components
• Design and development of test stands

You will have the following skills & experience:
• Testing, preferably gained in the development of thermal systems or process industry
• Sensors, instrumentation and process control systems
• Data management and the preparation of technical reports

Highly desirable skills & experience:
• Solid understanding of chemical and thermodynamic processes
• Experience of gas composition analysis techniques
• HAZOP and Risk Assessment
• Familiarity of a high level programming language (eg. Visual Basic, C/C++)


Remuneration

£20,000 - £30,000
and a benefits package including
excellent contributory pension
life insurance.
