A leading worldwide Cost and Project Management Consultancy require an enthusiastic, dynamic, creative and client facing Senior Planning Engineer to join their busy London office.
The chosen individual will be working within the Value, Planning and Risk team that works across the many workstreams currently being pursued. These include Infrastructure, Commercial Property and Retail
Responsibilities:
• Offering quality planning, programming and monitoring on ‘Programme Management’ support for projects.
• Adding value in the organising and execution of construction works (including lead design & procurement).
• Working with the existing Project Management team to accord an overall plan.
• Planning/ Carrying out critical path analysis, programming & Method Statements for all types of projects.
• Monitoring projects with varying techniques against different contract types.
• Evaluating & advising upon delay & disruption against different contract types.
• Attending input into risk analysis & value management meetings / workshops.
• Being familiar with & skilled in the usage of leading desktop & planning / PM software.
• Supporting & advising design & construction team members upon planning actions & monitoring.
Skills/ Experience:
• Received substantial sector & leadership experience in the construction industry.
• Spent substantial career periods in exclusively carrying out planning and programming.
• Good experience in the usage of planning / PM software’s.
• Degree and / or Charter qualification of a professional institute.
