We currently looking for a Senior Planner to join this dynamic team. As a result of there continuing success locally, a number of opportunities have become available in Croydon/London. We are looking for a talented Senior Planner to form part of multi-disciplinary team to work on a variety of Rail projects.

The Senior Planner will be responsible for creating, updating and progressing baseline programmes, and for cost and resource loading.

The Senior Planner will need to lead the project’s workstream managers, to develop the plan(s) at workstream level then integrate the discrete plans into a programme, incorporating interface activities as appropriate.

The Senior Planner will report directly to the Programme Management Office, Planning Manager or Project Manager dependant upon project organisation.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Significant planning experience in construction or an engineering based project environment over both the design and construction phases

Significant experience in using the Primavera planning tool(s) and other project planning management software

The ability to lead and direct the development of a programme of work from discussion within the project team, from scope of work and drawings.

A well developed understanding of Risk Management techniques and the interpretation and representation of risk in programmes

Experience on construction or engineering projects in a planning and project management environment.
