Maintenance Engineers – Greenford – to £30,825 + overtime + extensive benefits
Our client is one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers with a turnover of almost £3bn, and employs more than 18,000 people at nearly 70 sites across the country in the manufacture of household name food products.
As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they
are now seeking to recruit a number of self motivated multidiscipline maintenance personnel to join their team of experienced Engineers, working an average of 42 hours per week on a 12 hour continental shift pattern.
To be considered for these exciting opportunities, applicants must be multi skilled and electrically biased, and be able to demonstrate experience gained within a Plant maintenance environment utilising PLC control systems.
Whilst essential that successful candidates possess excellent numerical and verbal communication skills, you will also posses a minimum of 2 years experience in an FMCG Manufacturing environment, possess recognised Engineering City & Guilds Qualifications and PC literacy abilities, a working knowledge of relevant statutory requirements (allied to Health & Safety, with some Food Hygiene) and be a strong team player with good judgement and decision making capabilities.
