It will be your role to develop systems of web-based and GIS applications in support of a multi-skilled and rapidly expanding company. It's a varied role that'll see you engaged in a range of activities – everything from providing colleagues and clients with database management & support services, to creating complex queries so as to facilitate reporting.
Additionally you will be responsible for attending client meetings to gather requirements, report on progress, deliver training and promote the company's technical capabilities.
Accountibilities include:
Provide MS database development
Provide management of databases and support to internal and external clients
Provide effective database migration tasks between various data formats
Have the ability to create complex queries to facilitate reporting.
Have the ability to design professionally formatted reports for clients
Provide management of the integrity and currency of all published data
Provide management of internet information services
The development of web-based applications using VB.net
Represent the company in a client-facing role
Skills:
Computer science or equivalent degree.
Proven track record in VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server development.
Confident authoring software specifications.
Knowledge and experience in successful database systems development.
Experienced in communicating technical concepts.
