My US based client, located in the City seek an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant
The position calls for a deep technical background in IT, specifically in Hosting, Networking and Applications.
The Pre-Sales Technical Consultant will be responsible for designing technical solutions translating customer's needs into technical projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:-
-Good experience in IT , Data Center and Hosting services.
-Understanding : Server Operating Systems (Linux/Unix/ Solaris/ Windows), Clusters, Virtualization, Databases, Applications, email platforms, Security (Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, VPN, etc.) Storage platforms, Backup, Network Design (routing, switching, VLAN, etc.), Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity, Data Replication, etc.
Industry certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, etc. a plus.
The role pays up to £47,400 + £11,000 commission
