My client an expanding Global Media company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to join their team of 15. You will be working on many new projects over the next 3 years based on Java, J2EE, JSP, MVC, spring, Hibernate with Agile/scrum best practice etc. The role will be diverse in that it will require work on all aspects of the project life-cycle from requirements capture, Development and architecture.
Candidates will have relevant commercial experience developing in Java. Looking for candidates will the following skill set: Java, J2EE, JSP, spring, Hibernate, MVC, OO D/A, Junit, Ant with experience of working with Agile, Scrum or XP.
As the project is growing we are also seeking people if possible with the above experience with good Database experience, MDX, OLAP etc
Desirable skills: Velocity, Pl-Sql, Ruby, Ajax, Autonomy, SVN, Maven.
You will also be a team player with excellent communication skills, Good problem solver, Motivated / self starter.
