In order to be successful, you need to have drive and passion. Be honest, straight talking, friendly and have strong values. You will need to have excellent written and spoken English, as well as good eye for detail and enjoy the challenges of recruitment, sales and negotiations.
Solid sales and regular people interaction experience essential (Recruitment Consultant, Estate Agent, Account Manager, Sales Representative, Business Development, Sales Executives, Field Sales).
Once on board, you will be actively involved in the full recruitment process from business development through to interviews and placement. You will be dealing with contract engineers as well as permanent placements. On joining the company you will be handed existing accounts that require you to 'hit the ground running'.
The job requires:
• Developing new clients
• building relationships with clients (developing a good understanding of what client companies do and their work culture)
• advertising vacancies (mostly on the engineering recruitment websites)
• receiving and reviewing applications
• coordinating interviews
• checking references and suitability of applicants before referral to employers for interview;
• preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants;
• giving candidates feedback about the results of their interviews
• negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates;
• offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression;
