A Project Assistant is required for this multinational construction company.
The Project Assistant acts as a gatekeeper to the team and plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth, efficient and successful operation of the project. You will be responsible for supporting both the Project Team and the Bid Submissions Officer when producing tenders for contracts in the construction / development industry. Duties will include:
· Organise and when necessary attend meetings, including follow-up of action points · Manage IT requirements of the group: hardware and software, mobiles and telephones, and server access rights · Managing business travel arrangements for the team · Maintain the project diary, taking messages and managing interfaces with external and internal contacts · Submissions and proposals – assisting the Bid Submissions Officer to source, collate and format responses to complex tender documents – accuracy is vital! · Assist with PowerPoint presentations · Coordination of Contract Documentation · Typing or modification of correspondence and documents · Distribution of all documents and correspondence within and from the Project Team
This post requires: · An extremely efficient and confident (proactive) individual with excellent communication skills. · Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat and experience of using web-based extranet systems for document sharing. · Advanced Microsoft Word (style sheets) is required to enable the production of highly quality documents under time constraints · Experience of supporting a team of people as well as working on a one to one basis. · The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise (with the ability to communicate priorities to individuals within a team).
