Graduate Engineer Required - Rail
The rail team is one of the largest divisions within this large company and a market leader in the provision of multi-disciplinary Railway services. They provide consultancy services that cover all aspects of rail infrastructure planning, design, project management, construction supervision and rail maintenance.
This is a fantastic opportunity as you will prepare for the role of a Senior Engineer by undertaking the company Graduate Progression Programme. Your manager will nominate a mentor from within the team. An element of rotation between teams is expected, this may be within disciplines at the same location or throughout the wider railways group. You will ensure that all opportunities and experience provided are utilised to the benefit of both company and individual objectives. It will be your responsibility to ensure that training objectives, CPD and personal development are met in a planned and controlled manner within the appropriate timescale. This role will allow you to develop skills to a level which will allow progression to managerial level and beyond. You will use and apply principles, theories, concepts and techniques to complete activities and projects.
The right candidate must have completed and passed a relevant BEng or MEng degree. It is essential that you have a high working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience of working in an office environment is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for a high level of accuracy in all work produced.
