Our client are a major global corporate account who are being managed by one of the largest Property and Estates Management organisations in the world. They offer full Integrated Facilities and Portfolio Management to a variety of clients both in the UK and on an International basis.
They are currently providing a number of facilities services to a reputable banking organisation based in Canary Wharf. Due to expansion within the Property Management division they are seeking to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager to be charged with managing the strategic direction of the Engineering service delivery and for liaising with the client’s representatives.
Communication and co-ordination with the team leaders is essential and forms a major part of the role. The position is accountable for the compliance with the clients critical guidelines, technical bulletins, critical failure incident reporting and critical awareness program.
The role will require you to be involved in all engineering aspects of any project in the manner prescribed by the Regional and Area Engineering Manager.
You will manage all financial and cost controls, code and regulatory compliance, personnel management, staff training and development, team productivity and Health & Safety, environmental and energy management. Carry out any necessary audits.
Your remit will include but is not limited to, the Building Operations and Maintenance, Security, Owner’s Representatives, Architects, Engineers, Consultants, Contractors, Subcontractors, and Vendors. Ideally you will be educated with an HNC in an engineering discipline and will possess 10 Years experience with managing Critical Facilities/Environments.
You will have the Ability to translate client requirements into technical specification and will have either an electrical or mechanical building services bias, but must have an all round knowledge of both.
Salary £65,000 Hours 08:00 -17:00 Annual Leave 25 Days Contributory Pension Healthcare
