As a skilled maintenance engineer, the person will be a member of maintenance staff carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the building. Key Responsibilities Respond to reactive help desk requests. Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out repairs wherever possible. Carry out planned preventive maintenance. Communicate clearly with all levels of personnel, including prompt, clearly written records of the work undertaken. Ensure all key performance indicators and service level agreements are adhered to. Carry out daily tours and repair or report any defects found. Ensure that all logs and paperwork is filled in correctly and kept up to date. Ensure all activities are compliant with statutory health, safety and environmental requirements. Monitoring of work performance and standard. Attainment of customer satisfaction. Client liaison.
Qualifications An electrically skilled engineer, with a proven track record, and a sound knowledge of Electrical Maintenance. Apprenticeship served and qualified to a minimum of 236 part 1, 2 and part C.(16th Edition) or equivalent The Person The ability to communicate with all levels of personnel A positive approach The ability to work well as part of a team The ability to fault find and follow a task through to completion Good hand writing skills with the ability to write precise reports Good all round knowledge of building services operation The ability to work on own initiative and under pressure A good communicator able to deal with all levels of personnel including the client
