Two Positions: Senior Transmission Line Engineer
Lead Transmission Line Engineer
This international civil engineering organisation requires the services of a senior and a lead power transmission line engineer. This organisation is well known internationally and within Australia for its project capabilities, having many facets and divisions, and can offer unrivalled career progression and development to the successful candidates. We are seeking applications from senior and lead engineers who are looking to build and progress their career on exciting major power projects in Australia.
These are two key roles and you will be working at a senior level within benchmark engineering teams on some of Australia's most prestigious power projects.
The successful candidates will have the following skills and experience:
* Extensive experience in power systems engineering either with a utility, a consultant, an equipment manufacturer, and/or a construction contractor;
* Experience in Primary/Secondary transmission systems and design of Substation and Transmission lines, including PLSCADD software
* Good knowledge of protection, control and SCADA systems
* Experience in Extra high voltage (EHV) power systems.
* Good communication skills
* Good business development skills coupled with the ability to lead and manage a group of engineers (this will be appropriate for the lead role).
The successful candidates will receive an excellent salary package. A generous relocation package including flights, relocation expenses, initial accommodation, and business visa costs are on offer. Career progression, both nationally and internationally, are difficult to rival. Four year business visas for successful candidates will be issued within 14-28 days of an offer and these will also include spouse / defacto and dependents visas if required.
