Mott MacDonald are world leaders in the design, development and delivery of underground transportation schemes both in the UK and overseas. This work includes all aspects of the mechanical and electrical infrastructure necessary for their successful operation. Due to the increase in the demand for these services we now require an Electrical Engineer to join our team to carry out design and project management work. The work covers all areas of electrical distribution systems up to 33kV.
The successful candidate will report to a Team Leader and be based in our Croydon office. He/she will be responsible for producing technical designs that are viable and delivered to time and budget.
He/she will be expected to develop relationships with key clients and continue to effectively promote Mott MacDonald and the services we offer.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to develop their capabilities with a view to becoming a Team Leader.
The candidate will ideally:
Be degree qualified in an electrical discipline.
Be a Chartered electrical engineer with post qualification experience.
Have proven experience in the design of electrical schemes including HV up to 33KV.
Have experience with a regional electrical operator, consultant or in industry.
Experience in road and rail tunnels would be of benefit.
Have the ability to communicate with clarity both verbally and in writing.
