Senior Electrical Engineer - Healthcare
Scope of the Role
To work within a team of Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers in the London office of this Multi Discipline Consultancy, and to undertake design on major projects within our Healthcare sector. The Senior Engineer will also be involved in supporting more junior team members with their training and development needs.
Knowledge or Experience Required
•Demonstrable previous design experience in Electrical Engineering
•Demonstrable previous experience working on projects within the Healthcare sector
•Demonstrable experience and understanding of the engineering aspects of buildings and sustainable design
•Demonstrable technical capabilities relating to design and co-ordination of systems across a range of building types, whilst acknowledging energy targets and system efficiencies
•Undertaking design of projects with minimal supervision, reporting to Management on a regular basis
•Detail design development
•Site inspection and surveys
•Candidates must have demonstrable previous work experience in an Engineering Consultancy

•Ability to lead, motivate and work within a team successfully
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
•Delegation and problem solving skills
•Literate in Microsoft Office / Outlook
•Time management and personal administration skills
•Operational understanding of QA systems
•Understanding of designers' responsibilities under the CDM regulations
Educational Requirements
•BEng (or equivalent) in relevant engineering discipline
•Chartered status or working towards Chartership
