Our clients, are a large rail organisation, who are looking to recruit a Principal Power Engineer at their offices in Central London. You will be responsible for the development for outline power system designs and scope and to manage the configuration of the power systems.
Required skills/experience/qualifications:
Chartered Engineer with extensive experience of power systems engineering preferably in a rail environment.
Experience of HV & LVAC distribution systems design.
Experience of DC Traction systems design.
Experience of managing engineers and projects.
Knowledge of interfaces between power, railway signalling and rolling stock
Ideally CEng with a BEng/MEng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
