Area Sales Manager opportunity for engineer to move into sales - currently working in the Electrical Industry - based either Greater London or the Midlands (Milton Keynes area ideal) - salary £32 - £38K plus up to £8750 bonus potential and car and benefits package
We are looking for a Graduate ( or equivalent) Electrical Engineer currently working in the electrical industry who would like to take their first step into sales working for a diversified global manufacturing company involved with solutions to customers through its network power, process management, industrial automation, climate technologies, and appliance and tools businesses in their specific UPS /low voltage electrical switchgear marketplace.
As Area Sales Manager (Electrical Engineer) you would need to be based in either Greater London or the Midlands (Milton Keynes would be an ideal location). Any experience of the Electrical Consultant engineering specification process or Low Voltage electrical switchgear would be a benefit but not essential as training will be provided to give you that first, all important, introduction to the electrical specification sales marketplace
Ideally, the Area Sales Manger will have a Degree or ONC/HNC in electrical engineering (or equivalent), but candidates with alternative electrical experience, such as an Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, will also be considered but all candidates will need to have had some experience working the electrical industry
The role of the Area Sales Manager is to expand the customer base into companies who can utilise transfer switching equipment into their projects
