Description
Our client is a speciality chemicals company focused on its core skills in catalysts, precious metals, fine chemicals and process technology. The group's principal activities are the manufacture of autocatalysts, heavy duty diesel catalysts and pollution control systems, catalysts and components for fuel cells, catalysts and technologies for chemical processes, fine chemicals, chemical catalysts and active pharmaceutical ingredients and the marketing, refining, and fabrication of precious metals. The Engineering Department require 2 Maintenance Fitters. These positions are on a day shift working pattern.
Job Requirements
As the Maintenance Fitter you will hold a recognised mechanical craft qualification C & G/B. Tech/ONC/HNC with proven hands on experience in mechanical engineering. Additional electrical or instrumentation skills would be an advantage
Details
The Maintenance Fitter will possess experience in the chemical process or metal refining industry, with a working knowledge relating to the mechanical aspects of plant maintenance and repair, as well as small scale installations. The Maintenance Fitter will demonstrate essential skills for the role including the ability to work as part of a team, possess a good level of communication skills, basic computer skills, self motivator with the ability to use your own initiative.
