Installation Service Engineer
Basic £25,000 - £35,000

My client requires a dedicated Installation Service Engineer, to carry out complete Water Management and Water Hygiene service packages for water systems within commercial and public buildings all in accordance with the legionnaires Disease Approved code of Practice ( ACOP) Requirements.

The Role:
My client requires a self driven forward thinking individual with a positive out look and a focus on quality. Technically literate, have a good knowledge of plumbing and water systems, capable of writing up comprehensive reports. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and carry out physical work such as roof spaces tanks. Knowledge of ACOP (L8) Legionnaires Disease 2001 requirements would be an advantage, plus familiarity with carrying out Legionella risk assessments would be advantageous, but full training will be given.
Responsibilities:
· Asses Legionella risks within commercial and Public buildings in accordance to the ACOP (L8) requirements and standards.
· Carry out cleaning and disinfecting of water systems to approved British standards.
· Maintain a through understanding of the legislation surrounding legionella and water quality in general.
· Able to prepare and present reports to clients.
· The role will involve cold water storage tank cleaning, cleaning and disinfection of shower heads, sampling and temperature monitoring of water systems.
· Chemical dosing plant, dosing pumps water softeners
· Be able to build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels
Requirements:
· Able to work with the minimum of supervision
· Experience of premises hot and cold water systems would be advantageous.
· Ability to self motivate with fantastic planning and organisational skills
· Must have clean or near clean driving licences.
· Good numerical and written verbal communication skills are essential.
Remuneration:
The package offered includes a basic starting salary of £25,000 to £35,000 with a realistic and achievable Bonus system, plus company car.
