Planned growth and increased workload means my client has an excellent opportunity a Civil Engineer to join their water and wastewater project teams. You will be able to draw upon your existing experience within the water industry to assist in the design and management of whole, or part, assignments for water companies; either directly for Utility Clients or Contractors. Delivering a high level of service to clients my client is keen to strengthen their water department with team players who have a flair for design and project control and enjoy a multi-tasking working environment.
Role
- Assist in the preparation of designs, reports and contract documents - Assist in the management of part or whole projects from feasibility to completion - Be responsible for carrying out discrete parcels of work accurately within a timescale - Attend meetings, usually accompanied by senior staff - Carry out site inspections and surveys - Supervise Technicians and CAD Technicians as required on a day to day basis - Help ensure projects are delivered to quality, on time and to budget
Qualified with a BEng in Civil Engineering or with an equivalent qualification you will have gained post graduate experience within a consulting or contracting environment. You will hold good knowledge of engineering principles, hydraulic analysis, water treatment processes and health and safety legislation. It is desirable, but not essential, for you to have experience in AutoCAD and ideally experience in the completion of writing reports and letters and liaising with clients.
