Planned growth and increased workload means my client has an excellent contract opportunity available for a CAD Technician with a water biased background. You will be joining the Water and Wastewater project teams and will undertake the role of CAD Technician providing technical support to the Engineers.
The principal duties of this role will be to prepare pipeline and concrete drawings and develop details of designs from an Engineer’s sketches. You will work under the direction of the Team Leader and Project Engineer producing the CAD drawings as required.
With a background within the Water Engineering Industry you will be able to evidence experience in the production of the above drawings and have an understanding of construction practicalities and detail standards.
Ideally holding a BTech National Diploma in Construction or equivalent qualification you will be familiar in the use of AutoCAD, have good communication skills; being able to annotate drawings with details, descriptions and notes and be able to communicate at all levels with colleagues.
