Job specification
• To provide technical sales of the companies Water Management Solutions products mainly to civil engineering contractors and specifiers, although some work with heavy side builders merchants may be required. • To manage major projects in the designated area where large amounts of the WMS portfolio of product are involved • To manage key accounts in the area of England and Wales excluding the South East Region. Majority of work will be in the major conurbations of the Midlands, M62 corridoor and M4 corridoor • To work with the existing Building Products and Terrain sales teams to provide support and training as required. This could be on a national basis • To work with Marketing to help position existing products in the market and to identify new products for development • To provide a commercial input into new product developments for the R&D team • To undertake CPD presentation to customers on request
Person Specification
• Ideally a graduate level engineer or with at least 3 years experience of selling technical products to the Civil engineering industry or Water industry • Preferably with experience of selling to civil engineering ground workers / contractors and specifiers • Home base which allows travel to cover Cornwall to Scottish border. Ideal base would be in the midlands • Should have good commercial acumen • Able to journey plan to ensure maximum effectiveness of time • Excellent communicator and able to get on with people at all levels of a business • Must be able to fit in and work as part of the existing sales team • Likely to have good presentation skills, although training will be provided if required • Computer literate with a knowledge of Microsoft office software and CRM project tracking systems • Needs to be proactive, self disciplined and self motivated • Will possess a full driving license – preferably clean
