Extremely successful and rapidly growing company who specialise in the supply of bright, black, carbon and alloy Steels into various engineering markets currently have an urgent requirement for a Sales Executive to fill this integral position.

With an extensive customer base in the South East supported by their operation in London, the company now have an established operation in the east Midlands which they now wish to expand further.

SALARY: £24,000 - £28,000 basic + commission + neg. car/allowance

THE ROLE:
As an integral part of the company’s sales force, initially you will concentrate your focus upon new business development, generating your own leads and capitalising on sales opportunities. Once you have nurtured your clients and built up strong relationships you will then reap the benefits of these accounts, exploiting all sales opportunities that present themselves.

You will sell steel materials into various engineering markets. You will frequently visit both existing and potential customers around the East Midlands area, Travelling wherever sales should dictate.

Within a predetermined period of time, once you have demonstrated the kind of drive and ambition expected, you will progress to become the Area Sales manager.

Further expansion will lead to additional sales executives joining the team in the future as the company embarks on a strategic growth policy.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

First and foremost you will have an excellent record within the sales industry, with a proven understanding of the sales process, ability to hit targets and exceed expectations.

Naturally you will require enthusiasm, passion, desire and thirst for career progression and the financial rewards this offers.

Experience within the Steel industry would be extremely advantageous although not essential.
The ability to successfully manage and motivate a team of sales people is desirable. Previous sales management experience would help but is not essential.

The role would suit a successful specialist sales executive looking to progress to the next level.
