A main civils contractor requires a quantity surveyor for work in the Lincoln area. The company's core area of work is in the road and highways sector, so relevant experience is preferred. A minimum of a HNC qualification is essential. A current contract is in the Lincoln area on a road scheme worth over £16 million in project value and has 18 month's left in project duration.
Reporting directly to the senior quantity surveyor on site this role will involve site measures, valuations, measurements, sub-contractor payments, variation accounts, contractual notice and correspondence, checking and assisting in the production of tender documentation, preparation of pre-qualifications and monthly reports and forecasts.
