Proposals Engineer - to £45k (negotiable) – Derby
Our client is renowned as a market leader in the provision of innovative and bespoke integrated systems solutions to the transportation infrastructure industry.
Offering a range of highest quality services that encompass Project Management and Implementation, Consultancy and Software Development to blue chip clients worldwide, as a result of continued success and an ongoing planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Proposals Engineer to effectively support the highly successful Sales team.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, with additional support provided initially by both the Technical Director and the highly motivated and dynamic sales force, the successful candidate will be responsible for the generation of highest quality proposals and tender documentation that will ensure continued success and the securing of additional desired business projects, leading in turn to required growth and revenue targets being achieved.
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will have gained exposure to the controls industry ideally, and will demonstrate skills and experience in effective multiple project costing and solution provision, working from an initial design or project specification and considering all aspects from labour and material costs through to subcontractor liaison and materials availability, generating realistic, attractive and profitable proposals whilst working under your own initiative.
Additionally, it is essential that you possess an articulate, dynamic and effective style of communication as you will be ultimately responsible for presenting the technical business proposal to clients as part of the winning sales team.
