Mechanical CAD Design Project Engineers – to £36k Leicester
Our client is recognized as a market leader in the provision of bespoke integrated solutions to the automated handling sector, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are seeking to recruit experienced Mechanical CAD Design professionals of all levels to compliment their existing team.
Tasked with producing state of the art design schemes, systems and layouts for a range of materials handling applications, successful candidates will work on projects from initial concept design, through supply stages and to ultimately providing technical support at installation and integration stages with the equipment.
As a systems integrator, the organisation work closely with its customer to ensure their needs are satisfied through the provision of “best in class” process solutions, and it is therefore essential that candidates be able to demonstrate effective communication, personal planning and organisational skills to meet these customer requirements.
To be considered for one of these exciting positions, you will possess a relevant mechanical engineering qualification and ideally at least 3 years experience in a similar environment, demonstrating a thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD (ideally release 2006) or Inventor (for 3D design) and have experience of conveyor systems allied to manufacturing, mechanical handling or process environments and working in accordance with ISO9001 regulations.
You will be tasked with generating complex mechanical design schemes and general arrangement layouts, as well as associated manufacturing details and parts lists, necessitating liaison with customers and sub-contractors of all levels and regularly undertaking site surveys and visits during all stages of projects from definition stages to system handover.
