Graduate Simulation Engineer – to £25k Northamptonshire
Our client is renowned as a global market leader in the supply of bespoke materials handling solutions for a diverse range of applications, and as a result of continued success and a planned program of strategic growth, the company are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and self motivated Graduate Simulation Engineer to compliment their existing team.
The successful candidate will develop AutoMod simulation and emulation models for a range of complex Automated Material Handling Systems, and be tasked with the delivery of coherent, verified and validated simulation solutions that reduce the risks and improve the opportunities of a Project.
You will be part of a team responsible for Simulation specification, Testing, Pre-sales simulation and Sub-system design simulation, as well as Complex solution simulation and Solution emulation.
Additionally you will participate in Design reviews and Simulation reviews to ensure smooth project delivery and implementation, with good communication and liaison skills a prerequisite when working with internal teams and client teams.
To be considered for this challenging role, you will possess a full driving licence, demonstrate strong analytical skills and a knowledge of discrete simulation. Training in AutoMod will be provided. Additionally, you will possess programming skills in C/C++ and VB. Experience in the warehousing, materials handling and logistics environments would be an advantage.
