Test Engineer needed for steam turbine department
Our Client is a global leader in the world of power generation and sets the benchmark for innovative and environmentally friendly technologies.
The company designs, manufactures and supplies state-of-the-art products and systems to the power generation - for gas, coal, and hydro power plants - and industrial markets
Your Role is:
Guarantee testing of both new and retrofitted steam turbines. Conduct Performance tests of steam turbines and their associated condenser/feedheating plant.
(visits to both fossil fired and nuclear power plants around the world, of typically 4 to 6 weeks duration.)
Main Tasks Include:
Preparation of test procedures
Supervising the installation and calibration of special instrumentation
Programming and operation of computer controlled data logging systems
Carrying out or witnessing performance tests on site
Calculation of results and agreeing final results with the customer.
Writing of test reports

depends on experience
Hours of Work
37 hours per week.(flexi-time)
Holiday Entitlement
25 days per year basic entitlement. Floating bank holidays – agreed annually. Holiday pro-rata during 1st year of employment.
