About the Role: You'll lead a team made up of Civil, Control and Instrumentation and Electrical Engineers in their work in petrochemical pipework/pipeline design. This will be on a by-project basis. It will also mean preparing detailed design reports, specifications and component datasheets, as well as approving engineering reports and calculation drawings. In addition, you'll instruct mechanical engineers on issues such as plant layout. You'll liaise with clients and contractors too. About You: Along with extensive knowledge of UK or international design codes, standards and specifications, you'll have a proven track record of providing engineering design and consultancy services to the petrochemical industry. A competent user of the MS Office suite, you'll also be the kind of professional who can work on their own initiative and is willing to mentor and support junior staff. A degree in Mechanical Engineering and chartered engineer status are essential, too.
