Drawing Office Manager - £25 p/h , 12 Month Contract

With the never ending need to find new power solutions increasing on a global basis, this multi-national company are running a 24/7 operation to keep up with demand. Having won major contracts with rapidly industrialising nations and actively breaking into the renewable energy sector, their UK site requires a drawing office manager for a long term contract.

The role:
" Co-ordinating and managing 3 engineers within the drawing office.
" Checking design team drawings and making sure they adhere to company standards.
" Completing all relevant paperwork.
" Liaising with sub-contractors from overseas offices to make sure all drawings adhere to quality standards.
" Some drawing using Pro-engineer and AutoCAD.

The successful applicant will:
" Have experience in managing a team.
" Have the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
" Have used 3D CAD (Pro-engineer, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor).
" Have a strong background in mechanical engineering (special purpose machinery, automotive, power).

" Design and manufacture large scale rotating machinery used for power generation. Their major projects are focusing the renewable energy sector. Currently they are manufacturing over 60,0000 units a year in the UK.
