Job Description
Installation, commissioning and servicing of mechanical systems relating to centrifugal turbo-blowers & associated ancillaries to include:
Installation, levelling and alignment of drive trains Installation of bearings, seals and rotating elements li> Measurement and recording of dimensions and clearances Function testing of ancillary equipment – pumps, motors, actuators etc Systematic fault finding, diagnosis, and rectification on mechanical component and systems Assembly of rotating equipment and associated ancillaries to technical drawings and specifications
Educational requirement:
Hopefully applicants would be educated to at least HNC level in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification) or Apprentice trained fitter
Practical Experience:
Mechanical maintenance in an engineering environment Preferably have previous experience of working in a service environment Basic knowledge of rotating machinery Good mechanical fitting skills Fault finding in equipment.
Required Characteristics:
Reliable and self motivated individual Ability to work unsupervised.
Extensive travelling throughout the world will be required as well as work within a 24-hour call out rota system
