Their work is very varied and they offer services from strategic planning / feasibility layouts right through to junction modelling / micro-simulation and detailed design.
You will be an all-rounder who is able to support and develop our clients development control work across the East Midlands and you will be expected to mentor and lead a small team who have a busy workload, which includes reviewing planning applications and other outgoing documents.
Ideally Chartered or close to achieving Chartered or Incorporated status, you will have an appropriate level of relevant experience. This should include solid Highways Authority experience, a sound knowledge of Development Control processes and knowledge and familiarity with Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Planning Policy. Also, preliminary / feasibility design experience up to detailed engineering drawings / specification for the production of S278 agreements. Some line and team management experience would be useful and any experience of private sector developer work would be advantageous.
A working knowledge of relevant software packages is essential as are excellent communication, report writing and mentoring skills.

Our client will offer a competitive salary, probably in the range of £34 - 45,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package which will include a car allowance.
