This is an ideal opportunity for a Graduate Highways or Traffic Engineer with post graduate experience within the highways and traffic sector to join a world class Engineering Consultancy.
Their Highways and Transportation Team's involvement in the road sector ranges from the planning and design of complex urban roads and rural strategy routes to feasibility studies, route planning, statutory procedures, design, procurement and site supervision.
As Assistant Highways Engineer you will draw upon your experience to date to work on the designs of major and minor highways maintenance schemes, Section 278 designs and infrastructure designs for local authority clients, the Highways Agency and private clients. You will have the ability to communicate throughout the team both verbally and in writing.
You will be required to be familiar with the Design manual for Roads and Bridges and specification for highways works. A driving licence will be required for this role.
