We require experienced and motivated documentation and standards engineers to join the existing maintenance documentation team of a large railways consultancy. Applicants will need a sound understanding of engineering principles and best practice with a proven record of identifying technical hazard and risk. The ability to transfer this experience and skill set into the production of high quality and accurate railway vehicle maintenance documentation, in a highly competitive environment is required. The type of assignments you will be asked to lead or support may include: ·devising new or revised maintenance and overhaul regimes ·writing clear and concise documents ·reducing whole life maintenance or overhaul costs whilst ensuring continued safe operation ·managing the safe deferral of heavy maintenance ·demonstrating compliance with engineering standards. Experience and knowledge of railway vehicles is preferred, however engineers with relevant experience from other industries are also encouraged to apply.
