Stores Manager
Ripley
£18-22K depending on experience

Progressive and expanding manufacturing company in Ripley is looking for an experienced ‘stores person’ to take responsibility for technical stores, purchasing and ordering of spares.

Main Purpose of the Job:
To ensure all parts are controlled, issued to defined deadlines and sub assembled to the correct specification, develop a system that is capable of passing 3rd Party audit. Working with the General Manager in ensuring the best possible prices are achieved. Working with Finance manager in ensuring financial aspects of stock control are correct. Upkeep of BOM’s, continual improvements to system development to ensure the system is effective.

• Goods in
• Goods out
• Stock system development – Capable of passing 3rd party audit
• Sub assemblies – Make up and distribution
• Parts issue
• Purchase/ordering required parts

Applicants should have previous stores experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
