Maintenance Technician – Regular Nights £33K
(Regular 12 hour Nights - 3 on / 3 off)
My client is a reputable food manufacturer based in Nottingham. Due to significant investments into the business and consistent sales growth they are looking to recruit an additional Engineering Technician to join the maintenance team.
Main duties and responsibilities:
To ensure prompt response to machinery breakdowns.
To ensure the Planned Maintenance Programme is maintained and updated.
Assist in continuous improvements to plant and services.
To ensure the workshop is kept clean and tidy.
To communicate information to team and other technicians at start and end of shift.
Ensure compliance with any relevant environmental legislation.
Working at all times within the company's Health & Safety guidelines.
Qualifications/Experience:
Must have a previous experience of continuous production machinery with a working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and packing equipment. Previous food experience and an awareness of current health, safety and environmental legislation/issues is desirable as is an appreciation of PLCs. Applicants must be self-motivated with the proven ability to work in a pressurised environment and be able to prioritise their own workloads.
