Heavy Electrical Winders
This is a challenging role for the right applicants. The ideal candidates will be apprentice trained or have completed a comprehensive training programme recognised with the trade. The work is of a physical nature undertaking the full range of winding tasks associated with the manufacture of large generators therefore a high level of manual dexterity and physical fitness is essential.
These positions may be of particular interest to former employees who were engaged as skilled heavy winders or trainee winders who were prevented from continuing thier training at the time of the Enron crisis, which was unforseeable and completely outside of the company's control.
For both winding and machining appointments, suitable applicants will be expected to co-operate with working shifts based on three principal shift patterns of days, lates and nights, for which generous shift primiums are paid. In addition, there will be ample oportunities for overtime.
