Mechanical Design Engineer - 6 month Contract - £24 per hour
Part of a larger German group that turns over 500 million Euro's this company are world leaders in the design, manufacture and project management of automotive process and production lines. Employing world class engineering and lean manufacturing techniques in the design stages this company offers a unique turnkey solution.
What the role will involve
1. Working with design engineers from a large automotive OEM
2. Identifying tooling used in BIW assembly
3. Understanding what tooling is required for the assembly of the vehicle.
4. Designing new tooling and modifying existing tooling to allow successful completion of the project.
What the company are looking for in the contractor
1. Experience with FIDES - Ford Independent Design and Evaluation System
2. Experience within the automotive industry.
