CNC Setter/Operator

£7.50 per hour + OT
BENEFITS: Eligible for the following after 6 months Profit related bonus, contributory pension and 24 days holiday + bank holidays.
HOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday 6-2 / 2-10
QUALIFICATIONS: FLT Counterbalance preferred
MIN. EXPERIENCE: 2 years
ALTERNATIVE INDUSTRY: Metal industry ideally
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Setter/Operator required to work with PC controlled laser cutting machinery.
ELEMENTS:
• Varied work: washer to a table or door
• Read and interpret drawings
• Production paperwork (own QA)
• Good problem solver
SPECIALISED MACHINERY:
• PC controlled laser cutting machinery: flat bed lathes
**Must be computer literate: Windows / Word / Excel**
TOP REQUIREMENTS:
1. Read and interpret engineering drawings
2. Physically fit
