About the Role
This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in geotechnics to develop their career and increase their knowledge by joining a team of technical advisors who provide geotechnical advice to a multitude of civil engineering disciplines within the Company. The role is exciting in terms of the variation of work. The team get involved in providing technical back up and setting technical policies (mainly below the ground) for restricted access work, research and design work, foundations, ground improvement projects and general problem jobs plus lots of exciting innovative projects!
Recently the company were involved in an innovative project featured on Grand Designs!
Candidates are likely to have a BSc, BEng in Civil Engineering, specialising in geotechnical modules such as settlements and foundations, identifying soil types, structural understanding, wind loads, geotechnical calculations etc.
We will also support candidates through their development to become chartered engineers!
Interested parties must live in the midlands, have a full driving licence and be flexible as once inducted the role will require them to travel to various locations as and when required.
