Introduction: Our prestigious client requires a Technical Communications Manager to oversea all aspects of communications at a very new located in Bardon, Leicestershire.
This is an attractive position with a salary of £40,000 plus a bonus and car. The successful Technical Communications Manager will manage the provision of a fully managed robust communications and IT service which is critical to the delivery of our client's services to their customers. You will report directly to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities: - Provision of first line response for the diagnosis of all I.T. and communication faults and issues. - Delivery of a fully integrated and capable voice and data system. - Ownership and leadership of all Communications and I.T. related queries. - Management of appropriate software suppliers to ensure compliance, licensing and upgrade requirements. - Day to day resolution of faults / issues with the customer including liaison with external suppliers in line with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Continuous improvement and development of service in line with contractual requirements and customer feedback. - Management of service requirement and availability of Ground Satellite Stations. - Maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Applicant Requirements: Essential: - Qualified Electrical or Electronic Engineer. - Proven experience of hands on delivery of multi dimensional communication platforms e.g. Satellite, GSN, PSTN preferably within a critical service environment. - Expertise in the management and delivery of supporting Communication I.T. hardware and software. - Proven track record of delivering service improvements in line with customer needs. - Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally. - Able to influence others effectively. - Proven ability to manage third party suppliers and service providers.
Desirable: - Experience within the Emergency Services or Defence sector. |
