What is the Role?
As a Trackbed Project Engineer, you would be involved with the design on various trackbed projects throughout UK. You will also manage a small team of assistant engineers and technicians.
Responsibilities include,
Managing and delivering projects on time Involvement in Financial reporting, fee proposals and tenders Liaison with internal and external clients and sub-contractors Supervising site work Knowledge of Network Rail standards and GRIP procedures
Who are the likely candidates? What Skills do I need? § Civil or related degree (such as Engineering Geology) § Working knowledge of Network Rail standards and GRIP procedures § Practical experience of civil engineering works, preferably within a rail consultancy environment, including: § Trackbed investigation and / or design § Geotechnical investigation and / or design § Permanent Way design and / or assessment § Drainage and earthworks design and remediation § Surveying / setting out Our Methodology
