Our client who is a market leader in ground engineering is seeking a Testing Technician for their site in Somercotes, Derbyshire. Key tasks and responsibilities are: Carrying out site testing related to piling, structural investigations and noise and vibration monitoring. All preparatory work necessary prior to mobilisation. Health Safety Environment and Quality, Carry out site Pile Integrity Testing, Carry out site Dynamic Load Testing, Carry out site Noise and Vibration Monitoring, Assist in diagnostic testing of structures. To be familiar with the contract drawings, specification, and site investigations. To work to the Method Statements and Testing Procedures in accordance with the contract requirements and specifications. Ensure all site records for testing and delays etc. are completed and submitted in accordance with company procedure.Skills Required: Essential: Able to work alone and as part of a team. Self motivated. Be flexible in work patterns. Ability to communicate at all levels. Report writing.Education and/or experience:Essential :Computer literate basic knowledge of MS Office. Must have a full UK driving licence.
