An opportunity has arisen in the Derby Office for a talented Rail Engineer to join this expanding division.
Responsibilities
You will undertake civil/structural engineering design work in accordance with relevant standards for both bridges and building/other structures, assisting in leading/managing a team of assistant engineers/graduates and technicians as required.
Requirements
Previous railway or highways civil engineering experience
Experience of structural design and assessment calculations for both bridges and buildings or other structures.
Report writing and good communication skills
Leadership skills
AutoCAD / Microstation experience is preferable
You should be confident in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and you will possess a BEng or BSc Civil or Structural Engineering or higher. Ideally you will be working towards Chartered status
