A world renowned manufacturer of high quality engineered components for the automotive industry currently have a vacancy for a Facilities Engineer to join the team at their East Midlands premises.

SALARY: £18,000 - £22,000 + pension + BUPA + 27 days holiday + flexitime

THE ROLE:
Joining this global company as Facilities Engineer, the successful applicant will hold responsibility for the upkeep of both hard and soft services within the state of the art premises. You will use planned preventative maintenance computer software to help organise and implement any tasks that need to be completed.
Your proficiency in project management will enable you to source sub-contractors and supervise any building services installations, renovations, breakdowns or maintenance work that is necessary. Additionally, you will control the activity of janitorial and security staff on a daily basis. Working closely with the Engineering Manager, you will control documentation of method statements, risk assessments and all aspects of quality assurance.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Engineer, Facilities Manager or Facilities Controller with experience within engineering, or the automotive market in particular, to join a hugely successful company in an exciting period.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
> Experience controlling both hard and soft facilities services.
> You will have experience within an engineering environment.
> Ideally you will have an excellent level of electrical and mechanical knowledge.
> Qualified to HNC or equivalent.
