Our client is seeking a Modeller at Senior or Principal level to act as Project Manager, effectively controlling the commercial, managerial and technical aspects of projects.
You will also be expected to assist the Associate Director with his team management responsibility, ensure effective communication of business issues to all staff reporting to yourself, and understand and implement the Company's Strategy to customers.
You will be degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline and preferably possess other appropriate professional qualifications.
You will have a broad range of experience in flood risk management projects including hydrological and hydraulic modelling, flood risk mapping and strategic flood risk studies for the Environment Agency and other clients.
Capable of taking the technical lead on hydraulic river modelling projects and managing small project teams, you will also have significant experience of FEH and / or ISIS software applications.
An excellent communicator, you will have good leadership qualities and will have a desire to develop with the position.
A competitive salary will be offered dependent on the level of appointment, but probably in the range of £32 - 44,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
